THE ENTREPRENEURS

An entrepreneur must catch a killer to save the perfect team

Amateur boxer turned executive Joe Robbins moves his family to Austin to join a group of entrepreneurs running a high-tech startup: the charismatic CEO, the assertive and beautiful VP of marketing, and the brilliant engineering leads. As CFO, Joe rounds out the perfect team. Their plan is to get filthy rich with the IPO. But when the company falls apart, the IPO is canceled, and the board forces the CEO to fire Joe. With a pending tax bill he can’t afford to pay, Joe faces bankruptcy.

Then a director of the board is murdered. The police half suspect Joe but also need his help deciphering the dynamics of the perfect team. When a second director is murdered, the CEO fears for his own safety and offers Joe a huge reward to find the murderer. Joe readily agrees and tracks the killer using what he knows: spreadsheets, formulas, and logic, fortified with sweat and blood.

Joe better work fast for there’s no guarantee the killer won’t catch him first . . .
